Frosthaven

The official companion app for Frosthaven, the massive tabletop sequel to Gloomhaven. I led the development of the app’s architecture and user experience, designing how a sprawling, rules-heavy campaign could be tracked, automated, and made approachable on a screen beside the board.

The challenge here was scale and trust: players rely on the app to manage characters, scenarios, and persistent campaign state across dozens of sessions. That demanded a robust data model, careful state management, and a UX that respects the table rather than replacing it.
